So You’re Ready To Buy A Scooter!
Sooters, mopeds and motorcycles are all titled and registered in Texas; here’s what the process looks like once you decide you’re ready to buy your first (or next) set of wheels:
Step 1: Text Us, Call Us, Or Better Yet, Come On By The Shop!
If there’s a scooter you found on our site and you’d like to check for availability, call or text us today! Our friendly and knowledgable staff are happy to answer any questions you may have, and help you find the right scooter that fits your needs. It’s also a good time to get fitted for a helmet, check out scooter accessories, and learn about our financing options!
We always keep 70+ scooters in stock;Â if we don’t have what you’re after, we can always order it in. And if this is your first time around scooters, we understand the options can be overwhelming. We also offer 50cc rentals, a great way to see if a moped is right for your commute!
Step 2: Sign Documents
This is a very important part of the sales process that can become sticky if it’s not done correctly. In fact, the title process for scooters is as complicated as buying a car, but don’t fear! Scoots will take care of it, from start to finish! The easiest approach is to sign title work in-store (but we can handle paperwork upon delivery).
When you visit, please bring a current government issued ID. This could be a driver’s license, identification card, or even a passport because we’ll need it in order to file paperwork.
Step 3: Ride Off With Your Scooter!
Finally, the fun part is here!! After all your paperwork is signed, and the scooter has finished preparations for sale, the keys are all yours! If you need a refresher, we’re happy to walk you through all the bells and whistles on your newly bought scooter.
Continuing Service:
We don’t stop caring. If you didn’t know, Scoots is a full-service shop, capable of working on any scooter we sell, and then some! If your scooter is in need of routine maintenance or repair, we have your back.
